After a few days we brought her to the vet to make sure everything was in proper order. The vet was checking her out and checking out the medical papers. She asked if the new kitty was a girl or a boy. I told her she was a little girl. She picked her up and said "I am not so sure..." after feeling under the tail and between the legs for she said"Well there is one testical here and one just about to decend, Yup, you have a boy!". A boy! Well we thought we were getting Twitch a little sister, but she ended up with a little brother.I was nervous about the two cats meeting. There was no guarantee that they were going to get along. After a few weeks of adjustment, primarily on Twitchs part, everything worked out just fine.
In this picture New Kitty, now named Narco, was napping in the bed Twitch never EVER slept in and Twitch came and laid right on top of him. He didn't even care. You may be asking how did he get the name Narco. Here is a short version (hopefully). We were having a hard time thinking of a name for him when we thought he was a girl and it
didnt get much easier when we found out he was a boy. One evening we were sitting watching television and Narco came to sit on Mike's lap and began to groom himself. He was kinda sitting on his butt (like a human) with his tail and legs in front of him, he closed his eyes and then fell over asleep. This is the event that led us to call him a narcoleptic, hence Narco. He seems to be able to sleep anywhere, you can move him and he will look at you and go right back to sleep. This was never the case with Twitch.
